Alkanet is a blue flower and used mostly as a dye. The optimal farm plot size is 10x10.
When grown Alkanet flowers are removed by the player there is only a 50% chance to get one but the Farmer will always get a flower.
As of update 0.9 Alkanet requires dirt harvested from the Marsh Biome.
