Controls

Basic Movement and Action[]

Button	Action
`W`	Moves the player forward.
`A`	Moves the player to the left.
`S`	Moves the player backwards.
`D`	Moves the player to the right.
`Space`	Makes the player jump by one block.
`⇧ Shift`	Makes the player sprint.
`G`	Turns on the players personal torch.
`R`	Rotates the job/block placement arrow.
`Ctrl`	Makes the player crouch by approximately half a block.
`F`	Toggles flight. Requires cheats enabled and `/setfight true`
LMB¹	Destroys a block or makes the player attack.
RMB²	Places a block

Button	Action
`I`	Toggles the Crafting and Stockpile tab.
`C`	Toggles the Colony tab.
`T`	Opens the chat box.¹
`Esc`	Closes any tabs/boxes open. If there are none, it opens the options menu.
`F1`	Toggles the quick-start tutorial.
`F4`	Shows/hides the interface (i.e toolbar and colony information).
`F5`	Toggles stats (shows developer information such as X, Y and Z positions).

To use these controls you must be using the Debug release from Steam.

`F2`	First press opened the Client Dev Console Second press opens the Server Dev Console (If connected to a local server) Third press closes the dev console
`F6`	Toggles the Dev Menu
Camera Controls
`F7`	Toggles Auto Focus mode
`F8`	Toggles smooth camera
`F9`	Toggles perspective
`Num -`	Increased Field of View
`Num +`	Decrease Field of View
`Num *`	Resets Field of View
Timescale controls
`Num 1`	Pause the timescale. You will still be able to move but your Colonists and day night cycle will freeze
`Num 2`	Sets timescale to .5x speed
`Num 3`	Sets timescale back to normal (1x) speed
`Num 4`	Sets timescale to 3x speed
`Num 5`	Sets timescale to 10x speed
