The Crate is the block which gives your colonists access to the universal stockpile.

Crates can be crafted by the Tinkerer at a Tinkerer's Table.

Usage[]
Crates give your colonists access to the universal stockpile. Place crates near working colonists at their job place. The closer it is to the laborer, the more efficient they are to take resources from the stockpile.
Trivia[]
- Colonists access the crates from the side, meaning they have to be able to stand next to the crate to access it. The top may be covered but having a crate as floor tile will not work.
- colonists pick the crate closest to them, including vertically. If there is a crate near your colonist but another even closer in a location your colonist cannot access it, your colonist may show that it can't find a path. To fix this, move its own crate closer, or the interfering crate further away.
