The Crossbow is a weapon item used by crosbowmen to fire crossbow bolts.

A crossbow is crafted by the metalsmith on a bronze anvil, with the following ingredients:

• 3 × Wrought Iron
• 2 × Iron Rivets
• 1 × Bowstring
• 1 × Coated Planks

This recipe is unlocked by Science.

Usage

Crossbows are required to shoot crossbow bolts. It can be used by both player and crossbowman.

For the player to use a crossbow, crossbow bolts must be equipped in the player's hotbar.

For the crossbowman to use crossbow, crossbow bolts must be stored in the stockpile. The crossbowman does not need to go to a crate, but needs a reload time during which he can't fire.
