The Matchlock Gun is a weapon used by matchlock gunners to fire lead bullets with gunpowder pouches. It was removed in the 0.9.0 update.

A matchlock gun is crafted by the Gun Smith on a gunsmith shop, with the following ingredients:

Steel Parts - 1 × Coated Planks
- 1 × Copper Parts

Usage[]

Matchlock guns are required to shoot lead bullets. It can be used by both the player and the matchlock gunner.
For the player to use a matchlock gun, lead bullets and gunpowder pouches must be equipped in the player's hotbar.
For the matchlock gunner to use a matchlock gun, lead bullets and gunpowder pouches must be stored in the stockpile. The matchlock gunner does not need to go to a crate, but needs a reload time during which he can't fire.
One shot using the matchlog gun will consume one lead bullet and one gunpowder pouch.
