Quarter Blocks are a construction and decoration block and are only a quarter the size of a regular block. Their icon looks like stairs, which is their main intended usage. Placed down in the world they are half a block high and allow the Player to step up without jumping.
Colonists and Zombies ignore the quarterblocks completely and can walk through it.

The player can only craft Grey Quarter Blocks, all others are produced by the respective Colonists.
Placement[]
On placing the player has to select the direction by using the rotation tool R. The quarter block will be placed at the side the arrow is pointing at.
